Perhaps Jane is Addicted to Poor Performances

I went to high school in the '90s, and almost all of my favorite bands are from that decade.  One of my favorites was Bush.  They broke up in the early 2000s but recently reunited.  96.5 The Buzz hosted a concert at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park featuring Jane's Addiction, Incubus, and Bush.  I decided I wanted to go, and I invited Jeff to go along with me.  I was excited by the opportunity to see Bush, and I don't mind Incubus, but I really don't like Jane's Addiction very much.  I saw them once before and they weren't good.  Everything lived up to expectations, as Bush was great, Incubus was pretty good, and Jane's Addiction, the headliner, was so bad, we all left only a few songs into their set.  But it was still a really fun time and very much worth it.

Babies Everywhere!

Today we had our barbecue to celebrate Joshua's adoption finalization. It was really fun and we had a lot of friends and family stop by. We had several babies in attendance. Here you can see Lexi trying to get the bow out of Hadley's hair and Hadley touching Joshua's cheek and Joshua looking a little skeptically at Hadley. It was pretty much a baby party in the nursery.

In the evening we met up with Jeff and Josie, and they brought the newest addition to the Elliott clan, Jonas. He was an adorable tiny little baby, and even though it doesn't seem like we've had Joshua all that long in the grand scheme of things, it seems forever ago that he was that little. We had a nice dinner at Yard House at The Legends and got to hang out as we walked around enjoying the weather (which was finally bearable after an oppressively hot and humid day).

We Earned Enough Tickets to Buy Some Candy

My best friend Jeff was in town today, so we spent the day hanging out.  The highlight of the evening was going to Dave & Buster's at the Legends.  We played a lot of games, particularly the ones where you can compete against each other, such as Skee-Ball, Pop-A-Shot, etc.  It was late at night on a weeknight, so the place was nearly empty, so we were able to play any games we wanted.  We had a really fun time and decided we need to find a way to do that more often.
