Conditional Tastebuds

Although Joshua likes most things, avocados have been on the short list of foods he doesn't like. But we discovered recently that even for food he doesn't like, he'll eat it if he can feed himself. Today we gave avocados another shot, and he was able to pick up the pieces and get them near or in his mouth, and for the ones that actually made it inside, he seemed to be okay with the taste. Here he is with a few failed attempts nearby their intended target.
